SIT-Summer Institute in Taiwan
Academic Exchange & Cultural Experience in Taiwan
15. MOST Farewell

Project Managers: Annie and Aaron

Summer Institute in Taiwan is an annual project sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology, National Science Foundation and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. As always, on the last day of SIT orientation week, we invited Jennifer Hu and Emily Wang, respectively represent MOST and National Tsing Hua University to give the MS and PhD students from the US and Canada some words. Through the speech, we hoped they would learn more about the technology industry trends and academic environment of Taiwan. What’s more, We hoped to convey the core idea of 2016 SIT.

The content of MOST Farewell is divided into two parts: The first part is the speeches delivered by Jennifer Hu and Emily Wang. The second part is the gift distribution, in this part, fellows were invited to share what they feel about the SIT orientation week and the corresponding staff would give gifts to them. We also showed a video that contains all the memories of the SIT orientation week between these two parts. They said the enriched orientation week was impressive and full of happiness. Overall, this activity is not only the best ending of the orientation week, but also the greatest start of the sweet summer.
