Host Professor's Remarks
We are very pleased to host Ms. Kirstin Washington from the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Southern California, USA, as an exchange student in our laboratory this summer.
We are very fortune to have Mr. Peter Hundt University of Minnesota, US, as an exchange student in my laboratory this summer.
I am glad to host Dr. James Winkler from Texas A&M Department of Chemical Engineering.
First of all, I am very pleased to have this program for me to meet Caroline, the first year Ph.D. student from Iowa State University.
It was my pleasure to host Ms. Yingjun "Irene" Zhao from the University of California, Davis (USA) as a visiting graduate student this summer, hosted by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) East-Asia and Pacific Summer Institute (EAPSI) and Summer Institute in Taiwan (SIT) programs.
Eileen is a graduate student from McGill University and her field of study is cancer epidemiology, particularly the study of risk factors of cervical cancer.
This is my second time to host a short-term international student supported by this program.
Mr. Michael Hoang from University of Waterloo, Canada brought with him a calm sense of excellence to our laboratory in National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
Brett Allen is currently in the later stages of his Masters in Science in Structural Engineering Degree at University of Nevada, Reno.
